The landscape design proposal for Casal do Frade draws inspiration from the work of Burle Marx, reinterpreted through the estate's distinctive character, Mediterranean identity and existing vegetation. The project organises the property through expressive planting compositions, interpretive pathways, seating areas and productive landscapes, strengthening the continuity between the different spaces of the ecotourism estate. The intervention enhances the relationship with the surrounding rural and natural landscape, incorporating thematic gardens dedicated to fruits, berries, beekeeping and mushroom cultivation, following a functional, sensory and ecological approach.
