We partnered with Premissa Arquitectura in this project with a strong emphasis in the connection between landscape architecture and architecture, designing a dynamic Urban Park, and integrating a new program to the city with a Congress Centre.

We propose with the creation of Parque da Várzea Sul, to contribute to the creation of a new identity for what is now a disconnected area of the city in an abandoned industrial area.

The project uses the principles of Nature Based Solutions, to turn this valley space into a water retention basin, taking advantage of the course of the ribeira da Várzea, seen as an important measure of adaptation to climate change.
