The proposal for the outdoor spaces of Casal do Frade draws on a shared inspiration from the work of Burle Marx, reinterpreted through the specific character of the estate, its Mediterranean matrix and existing vegetation. The project organises the property through expressive planting areas, interpretive paths, seating spaces and productive gardens, strengthening the continuity between the different areas of the ecotourism estate. The intervention enhances the relationship with the surrounding rural and natural landscape, integrating thematic gardens dedicated to fruits, berries, beekeeping and mushroom production within a functional, sensory and ecological approach.
